How is SkillGalaxy.com helpful to Employers?
SkillGalaxy helps fill job quickly and with best available candidates. Clients can directly benefit from our network with access to a broader candidate pool while lowering cost per hire and using strong ATS and VMS capabilities at no additional costs. Employers can also posts jobs to direct job seekers. Currently we are running a special allowing clients to post jobs free to job seekers.

How is SkillGalaxy.com Marketplace different from other job boards?
Most job boards are classified advertisements of jobs and do not actually search candidates or do not control submission quality. Unlike job boards, SkillGalaxy's registered members find and screen qualified candidates before presenting them. In addition, our team monitors the submission quality and assists in collaborating between employers, candidates, and suppliers throughout the complete hiring process. We however do not monitor resumes or assist in setting interviews of job seekers that apply directly to your job postings.

What type of requisitions I can open at SkillGalaxy.com?
Clients can open an unlimited number of contract and permanent job openings for any industry sector or skill area
both to our supplier community and job seekers.

Why would suppliers work for a lower fee when they normally charge higher fee on placing candidates?
We provide a large supplier base to encourage competition and increase probability of suppliers willing to present the candidates at a lower fee. As a result, employers may receive profiles of desired candidates at much lower costs. Additionally, SkillGalaxy.com brings business opportunities from many clients to our suppliers and help them cut their marketing overheads.
The demand and supply in the market usually governs the contractor rates. A larger supplier base helps us increase contractor supply and lower rates.

What fee I do have to pay for using SkillGalaxy.com as an Employer/Client?
There is no investment or monthly fee for registering at SkillGalaxy.com or using its services. Employer pays hiring fee offered by them to SkillGalaxy.com upon a successful hire.
Clients may hire contractors at hourly, weekly, or monthly rates. Clients are invoiced for contractors based upon agreed rates and terms. There are no charges for opening requisitions, receiving profiles, and interviewing candidates.
Clients may be however required to purchase Job posting package to open Jobs directly to candidates.

Will the suppliers invoice us directly?
No. SkillGalaxy.com will serve as sole point of contact and client will make hiring fee and contractor payments only to SkillGalaxy.com.

Does SkillGalaxy.com add any extra fees over the supplier rate and hiring fee?
SkillGalaxy.com does not charge any extra fee to its clients on top of supplier rate and fee.

What is SkillGalaxy Time Saver Assistance fee?
SkillGalaxy suppliers are required to present prescreened candidates. However, if the client requires additional assistance in filtering candidates and chooses ‘YES’ for SkillGalaxy Time Saver Assistance fee, our staffing team checks the resumes before forwarding them to clients. We add an extra 10% for this special service as SkillGalaxy Time Saver Assistance fee. SkillGalaxy Time Saver Assistance is currently only available on contract requisitions.

I like profiles of a few candidates and would like to setup their interviews. How do I inform your team or the suppliers?
Click on the desired requisition. Click the "Change Status" link in the candidate list at the bottom of Requirement display screen. Select “Selected for Interview” option from "Change Status" dropdown list and enter the required information to request an interview. Upon saving, our team and the supplier will be alerted and work towards setting the interviews. You may provide up to four interview schedules and our team will work on setting one of them. You may also call us and we will be glad to walk you through the process.

What is the process of hiring a candidate in SkillGalaxy application?
Click on the desired requisition. Click on "Hire Candidate". At the "Hire Candidate" window, select the candidate you would like to make an offer to now. Check the listed details and enter any requested particulars. Click "Proceed". Verify the hiring details in the preview screen before clicking on "Hire Candidate". The SkillGalaxy support team and supplier will be notified and work towards facilitating the hire. We do encourage clients to contact us before hiring a candidate on SkillGalaxy to confirm details such as the start date and other critical data to avoid errors.

What is SkillGalaxy’s 60-day money back guarantee on permanent candidates?
All candidates hired on a permanent basis are backed by our 60 day 100% money back guarantee. We release the hiring fee payment made by the client to the supplier 60 days after the candidate's start date. During the first 60 days, if a candidate voluntarily leaves the client or if the client rolls off the candidate due to performance reasons, SkillGalaxy.com shall refund the hiring fee paid by the client or provide a replacement candidate at client’s choice.

What is SkillGalaxy’s performance guarantee on temporary contract candidates?
All candidates hired on a contract basis are backed by our performance guarantee. SkillGalaxy will not bill for the services provided by a contractor in the event the client terminates a contractor due to performance reasons within two weeks from the contractor's start date. A two-week performance guarantee is applicable on contract durations that are 6 months or longer. Similarly, SkillGalaxy provides 1-week performance guarantee on contract durations for 3-6 months and a guarantee of two business days for contract durations that are less than 3 months.

How can I prevent my name from being displayed on the requisition to suppliers?
While opening a requisition, the application provides options to prevent your name and your company name from being displayed to the SkillGalaxy suppliers.

Can I put a limit on the number of submissions from each supplier and the total number of submissions?
You can set these limits while opening each requisition. Each requisition could potentially have a different number of submissions allowed per client specifications.

SkillGalaxy brings business opportunities from a wide range of clients that may not be normally accessible to suppliers directly.

Are there any charges for creating SkillGalaxy.com account?
Creating account at SkillGalaxy is free for both independent recruiters and staffing companies. SkillGalaxy.com will deduct a nominal fee from the payments made to suppliers on both contract and permanent placements.

What type of job orders I can view in SkillGalaxy.com?
At SkillGalaxy, you will find both contract and permanent positions listed from various industry sectors, skill sets, job titles, and geographical areas. However, only the suppliers registered as a Company can view Contract and Contract-To-Hire positions. Independent recruiters can only view permanent requisitions.

Can I work with SkillGalaxy clients directly?
No. As per the SkillGalaxy Terms and Agreement, suppliers are not allowed to directly contact the SkillGalaxy clients.

Am I required to screen every candidate before submitting?
Yes. As a SkillGalaxy supplier, you are expected to screen every candidate that you wish to submit at SkillGalaxy.com. It is vital for us to maintain a superior level of service to the clients, which in turn, shall bring more business opportunities to SkillGalaxy and its suppliers.

I am registered as an independent recruiter. Why I am unable to view contract positions and can find only permanent positions listed at SkillGalaxy.com?
Users registered as independent recruiters are allowed to view only the permanent requisitions at SkillGalaxy.com. A supplier must be listed as a company to be able to legally employ contractors and must be registered as a company at SkillGalaxy.com to view contract positions.

What are the requirements to register as a COMPANY to become a supplier?
To register as company with SkillGalaxy, you must be a legal entity registered to do business in the United States with a physical business address. You will be required to complete the supplier profile upon login. You company will provide us the required documents such as, but not limited to, Federal ID number and W9 form before SkillGalaxy.com can release payments to your company.

What are requirements to register with SkillGalaxy as an Independent Recruiter?
To register with SkillGalaxy as an independent recruiter, you must have a physical address in United States and must be legally entitled to receive payments in United States. You shall also be required to complete the supplier profile upon login. You will also provide us the required documents such as, but not limited to, W9 form before SkillGalaxy.com can release payments to you.

What fee does SkillGalaxy charge to Suppliers?
Currently, SkillGalaxy.com deducts 18% from payments to suppliers on both permanent and contract positions. While entering contractor rate at the time of candidates submissions, suppliers must take this fee into account as the client is billed the contractor rates submitted by the suppliers. For example, if you enter $50/hr as the contractor rate, you will be paid $41/hr after deducting our fee upon payments from the client.
