·         Improved performance on our Savings Engine from 16 hours to 1 hour in PL/SQL by removing legacy code, adding/removing indexes and rewriting 50 percent of PL/SQL packages/procedures.

·         Developed a Supplier/Manufacturer Normalization Application (PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, JavaScript, AJAX) to normalize suppliers/manufacturers in customer's spend data we load (Talend ETL), about 100,000 rows per customer per month. Implemented this in all of our applications to submit normalization tasks.

·         Developed Single Sign On in Oracle APEX to allow users to only log in once and be able to access nine different applications.

·         Improved our SSC (Spend, Savings and Compliance) application created for a customer by adding code (PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, JavaScript, AJAX) to implement 20 other customers. Improved performance by 50 percent by removing/adding indexes, modifying PL/SQL packages/procedures and modifying Oracle APEX pages. With many improvements our MIS team was able to produce the reports for our customers 70 percent faster than before.

·         Created Savings Analyzer webpages for our Marketing Team using 3D Flash Charts, ASP, JavaScript and HTML. These pages are currently live on our website and are being used by potential customers.

·         Reduced processing time by 50 percent on 10 reports in our SSC Reporting Application by automating most of our manual updates and processes.

·         Developed the CI Application to automate the entry of CI Savings data with single line entry and bulk load process with data normalization built in.

·         Reduced turnaround time for Market Index Reports from three to five days to five minutes by developing a Market Index Application that manages industry indexes. Automated manual processes done in Access and Excel.

·         Reduced processing time for Price Impact reports from five days to a day by developing a Price Audit Compliance Application to automate the price analysis process. Used to be in Access/Excel which required lots of manual steps to load, validate and generate impact reports in PDF.

·         Lead the effort to evaluate, purchase and get training in Talend ETL.

·         Implemented a third-party JavaScript spell checker in Oracle APEX to get the functionality that Outlook's spell checker has. Documented how to implement in other applications and did an overview with the dev team.

·         Created a common upload module (PL/SQL) for all Oracle APEX applications to enable uploads from any location, before this module users were not able to upload from their c:\ drive.

·         Supported our Spend Assessments application built in MicroStrategy with bug fixes and new reports.

·         Reduced turnaround time on Electric Power Transmission reports from five days to five minutes by creating a self-service web-based application. Users were able to view and download the reports at any time. This application was built using JSP, Java, Servlets, JavaScript, HTML and Oracle PL/SQL.

·         Web-based application was built with shopping cart functionality for reports, downloadable reports in different formats, JavaScript calendars, database connection pooling, form validation and dynamic pages from data in the database.
